Welcome to this week’s club news,

Division 3 League Champions: Our second adult men’s football team clinched the division 3 league title with a game to spare yesterday with an entertaining and high-scoring victory at home to Ballinacor. The team has only been defeated once throughout the whole campaign and they face into the championship with confidence.

Our first adult men’s football team had to settle for a draw in their latest league match. The concession of a late goal saw them pegged back away to Hollywood. However, if they win their remaining two matches, they’ll win Division 1A.

Weekly Lotto: Nobody matched the four numbers of 10, 12, 16 & 18 in last week’s fundraising lotto. The weekly cash prize winners were Glenn Wall and Sean Lawless. Tonight’s jackpot is €1,200. Tickets available HERE.

U11 Hurlers Take Road Trip: Armed with hurlers and sliotars, our intrepid U11 hurlers travelled to Kilkenny today to participate in the Phelan Stone U11 tournament held in the St. Patricks GAA Ballyragget. As well as the hosts, the lads played Sarsfields GAA Club Official, Co Kildare and Carlow Town Hurling and Camogie Club. Big shout out to all the coaches and parents who travelled down too.

County Crackers: As a club, we’re always honoured to have club members represent various county teams. Last weekend, Orla Minogue was on the Wicklow Ladies Football panel who defeated Offaly in the championship while we also had representatives on the Wicklow U15 boys footballers and on the Wicklow minor hurling team.

Ladies Footballers Win Local Derby: A very fruitful weekend for the club was capped off by our U12 ladies footballers who played Kilcoole in a local derby today. An exciting, skilful and sporting game between two committed teams, saw our girls just come out on top. Hats off to both teams!
