Welcome to this week’s club news,
Paula Wins the Jackpot! Congrats to Paula Galvin who matched all four numbers in this week's fundraising lotto to win the jackpot of €6,300. Paula's son Mossie (in photo) is a juvenile player with the club and Paula supports our lotto by buying an online subscription. Paula is presented with her winnings by club lotto coordinator, Daniel English. Remember, less than half of our income comes from our club fees, the rest we fundraise of which the lotto is our main source. It allows us to do things such as appoint a second GPO (see below).
So, be like Paula, support the development of the club and become rich by joining our lotto. Tonight's jackpot is €1,000. €2 tickets https://bit.ly/3xjk0Sz
Éire Óg All Stars is Back! Our inclusive GAA programme which provides those with additional needs the opportunity to play Gaelic games in a fun, non-competitive and inclusive environment is now back up and running for 2022. The programme helps develop skills and fitness with a big emphasis on fun! To learn more about our All-Stars programme visit https://eireoggreystones.com/eire-og-all-stars/
Second Games Promotion Officer (GPO) Appointed: Say hello to Aoife Murphy our recently appointed GPO. Aoife will be increasing our footprint in Greystones' schools meaning that more children will benefit from playing Gaelic Games in a fun, inclusive way. She will work with our existing GPO, Kevin Spain to help ensure that children in our schools enjoy more physical activity and are taught by professional coaches.
This is all part of our ambitious drive to develop our club, improve our links with local schools and expose as many children as possible to our national games. Welcome aboard Aoife!
Blitz Bonanza: What a great day's camogie was had by our U10s yesterday against Bray in a blitz. Lots of sun and lots of fun too! Big thanks to our role model referees Kate, Leah and Meadbh. Well done to all parents and coaches too!
