Welcome to this week’s club news, PLAYER PROFILE-Alec Bartek On-field activity is still mostly dormant at the moment, so as well as our "where are they now" series, we're also taking the opportunity to profile some of our younger players. First up is Alec Bartek who cites ghost stories in the car from coach Mick Burns as his funniest experience in the club! As part of our Healthy Club Project, we are participating in RTE’s Operation Transformation #IrelandLights Up initiative. The walks take place at 6:30 pm on Tuesday and 8 pm on Thursday. Nobody matched all four numbers so another €100 is added to next week’s jackpot which is now €5,400. The weekly cash prize winners were Evan Mullaly and Paul Simpson. Tickets for next week’s draw are available at https://bit.ly/3xjk0Sz Schools hurling victory: Several players from our club are members of a Bray/Greystones schools hurling team which is competing in the Leinster Championship. The aim is to give players an outlet to compete in schools’ competitions. They defeated Dublin school Oatlands college 6:13-3:09 this week to progress to the next round.
