Welcome to this week’s club news, Big weekend for both adult men’s football teams: Both our adult men’s football teams face into big matches this weekend. Today, (Saturday) our Junior A team are in knockout championship action against Arklow at 4pm in Annacurra while tomorrow, our senior team begin their Keating Trophy campaign with a home fixture against Newtown at 11 am. Hugh turnout four inaugural G4M&O session: There were forty plus women at the club on Tuesday evening for our first ever Gaelic for Mothers and Others (G4M&O) session. Great enthusiasm, fun and friendships. The Greystones Guide even wrote an article about it. Well done to Ciara, Nicola and Mick for all their efforts. It is provisionally set for the clubhouse dependant on the easing of Covid restrictions. This a chance to learn more about how the club is run and to have your say. If you’d like to submit a motion or nomination, it must be done by 21 October by emailing secretary.eireoggreystones.wicklow@gaa.ie Weekly lotto: You may have noticed that this week’s lotto draw was broadcast on Facebook in an attempt to add to the weekly drama! Anyway, the winning numbers in this week’s draw were 9, 12, 17 & 28. As nobody matched all four numbers, next Monday’s jackpot is €4,000.
