Welcome to this week's club news, GLORY FOR UNDER 13 BOYS FOOTBALLERS: We had both our under 13 boys football teams in action in finals at the weekend. Both teams put in outstanding performances. Our U13 A team defeated Blessington to claim the "A" championship (the first one ever won by the club I understand) while the other U13 team were just beaten by An Tochar in the plate final. Special mention has to go to Darragh Keogh who won “man of the match” in the A final for his goalkeeping performance. What made it all the more remarkable was that this was Darragh’s first ever match in goals as injury prevented him from playing outfield. You can read match reports HERE and see more photos HERE. 
FIXTURES: There’s are lots of exciting upcoming adult and juvenile hurling, football and ladies' football fixtures coming up. Be sure to check out our results and fixtures page on our website to access them. We’ll update the page with camogie fixtures when they become available. U15 HURLERS TRIUMPH: Not to be outdone our U15 hurlers also took home some silverware this week. They defeated Arklow Rock Parnells in the plate final by 6-04:1-10. A great team performance with a special mention to Éire Óg midfielder Alec Bartak who won man of the match. Read a match report HERE.  WEEKLY LOTTO: The winning numbers in this week’s lotto were 8, 9, 25 & 29. Nobody matched all four numbers so another €100 is added to the jackpot, meaning that next Monday’s prize is €2,400.
