Welcome to this week’s club news, Minor magic: For the first time, North Wicklow Gaels won the minor “A” hurling championship last weekend. They defeated Bray Emmets in an exciting encounter in Aughrim. It was goals that won it for the team as they came out on top on a score line of 5-07:1-12. A big congratulations to all but especially to the players and mentor from our club on the panel. U14 camogie team do club proud: Well done girls to the U14 camogie team who played in the county final in Pearse Park Arklow last weekend. While the result didn’t quite go their way, it was a super effort and performance by all the girls who played with heart and determination. We are so proud of every girl that was an important part of our U14 journey this season. We have many happy memories from the season and much to be proud of the from our 2020 journey.
