Not to be for senior hurlers: Our senior hurlers went down fighting in their senior championship semi-final clash against Carnew last weekend. With a strong wind at their back they went in level at halftime but saw Carnew pull away in the second half. The final score was 0-14: 0-09. For a full match report, click HERE.

Adult ladies’ footballers face into final: Our adult ladies footballers face-off against Clann na Gael in Roundwood this Saturday, 19th at 6:30 pm in the Intermediate B final. The match is being streamed live at https://www.facebook.com/EastCoastVideo There are a limited number of spectators allowed, if you’re interest in attending, email the address at the bottom.

Minor hurlers advance to “A” final: In better hurling news, North Wicklow Gaels hurlers which includes seven players from our club namely, Joe Prendergast, Fionn Meila, Kevin Booth, Cian O’Lionaigh, Fintan Potts, Kieron Ovenden and Oisin Shanahan have advance to the minor A hurling final. The play Bray Emmets in the final on 27 September. Again, there is some limited scope for supporters to attend. If you’d like to go, please contact Diarmuid Potts at 087 9788025. Weekly lotto: The winning numbers were in this week’s lotto were 2, 9, 21 & 22. The cash prize winners were Ed Norton and Billy Cuddihy. Tickets for Monday’s €12,000 jackpot are available HERE.

U16 girls’ footballers into final: Well done to the U16 girls, Martin, Mick & Shay in a close match against Newtown this week they ran out winners 3-7 to 0-14 in the B Championship semi-final. They play Rathnew in the final next Tuesday in Rathnew. Brilliant stuff girls another team in a final.
