Welcome to this week’s club news,

Men’s football team exit championship: There was ultimate disappointment for both our adult men’s footballers last weekend. Our Senior and Junior A team were beaten by Kiltegan and Blessington respectively. The former team were beaten by a single point following extra time. While it was undoubtedly a blow to lose both matches, there was plenty of promise on show particularly from younger players. Senior hurlers: Our Senior hurlers will be hoping to redress the balance somewhat when they face county champions Bray on Sunday at 4pm in Aughrim. Once again attendance is limited. It's estimated that there will be approximately 35-40 tickets for supporters. If you'd like one, email the below address.  If tickets are oversubscribed, they will be a draw. Bear in the mind the match will be shown live on Wicklow GAA TV https://officialwicklowgaa.ie/wicklow-gaa-live-pay-per-view-2/

U14 Camogie team win derby: Massive well done to the U14 camogie team who beat Kilcoole in their home championship match this week. With lots of goals there was plenty to cheer about. Well done to all the players, coaches Brian & Suzanne and all the supporters.

Weekly lotto: Please do consider supporting our weekly lotto especially this year as we haven’t been able to arrange fundraisers for obvious reasons. This week’s winning numbers were 16,17, 21 & 28. The weekly cash prize winners were Peter Keane and Freda O’Kelly. Tickets for next week’s draw are available HERE.

U13 boys footballers win opener: Well done to the boys U13 footballers who won their first championship match of the season last night against a good Arklow team.  As a team from start to finish they showed great skill and composure on the ball, some fantastic scores and defensively from the forward line back to goalkeeper they all put in a great display for the full 60 minutes. Attitude on the pitch, to the referee and to the coaches was exemplary and the win was well deserved.
