Welcome to this week’s club news, Adult ladies’ footballers limber up for championship: The adult ladies footballers limbered up for the championship with a good win over Newtown today in a challenge match on a score line of 4-05: 0-06. The goals came from Elaina Fusciardi, Rachel Garvey, Ciara Doyle & Jess Maxwell. Really solid display with Ciara Patrick and Megan Healy superb in defence. Special mention too for Jess Maxwell and Ella Horgan. Their championship opener is against St Nicholas' on 9 August.  Weekly lotto: Our main weekly fundraiser continues unabated. This week’s winning numbers were 6, 11, 22 and 27. The weekly cash prize winners were Dermot Blake and Peter Patrick. Tickets for this week’s €12,000 jackpot are available HERE. Adult camogie do it in style: The adult camogie team wore the Gavin Glynn colours in their home challenge match against Cuala this week. This was to show their support for local charities- The King of Greystones and The Gavin Glynn Foundation dedicated to supporting families fighting childhood cancer. It was a super game where the ladies showcased their fitness, skills, sportsmanship and readiness for the matches ahead.  Senior hurlers in championship opener: Our senior hurlers play Avondale on Sunday at 4pm in Aughrim. Due to current restrictions, the number of supporters permitted to attend is limited.
