Welcome to this week’s club news, Senior hurling & football teams back in competitive action: Both our senior men’s hurling and football teams kicked off their campaigns at the weekend. The footballers beat Bray Emmets in Div 1A of the football league 2-05: 1-10 while our senior hurlers were beaten by Offaly team Carrig/Riverstown in the Leinster league. All Ireland trophy visits Greystones: A big thanks to Jennifer Dunne a member of the All Ireland winning Dublin ladies GAA team who recently visited Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath with the Brendan Martin Cup. Jennifer is pictured here with some of the school’s pupils, the club's Games Development Officer, Kevin Spain and teacher Darragh O'Connell.  Healthy Club Initiative: The club is continuing preparations for its GAA Healthy Club Project. We’re likely to formally launch it in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you may be interested in joining the GAA Healthy Clubs Challenge.  Weekly lotto: As we strive to improve our facilities like fully floodlighting our second pitch and employing a Games Development Officer, fundraising is more important than ever.
