Hi, Welcome to this week’s club news, Not to be for U20 footballers: It wasn't to be for our U20 footballers in the final of the "A" championship. Despite a mighty effort they went down to Kilaveney (Tinahely, Shilleagh/Coolboy, Annacurra, Coolkenno) on a score line of 2-13:2-06. They battled manfully and reduced the gap to three points in the second half. Lots of the players are age-eligible again next year, so we’ll see them again at this level. Well done to management and players. All at the club are proud of you. Read match report HERE. Garda Vetting: A reminder for anyone in the club working with children (coaches, assistant coaches, helpers with equipment or supervising) that you must be Garda Vetted and have completed a child protection course. We will be holding a course on 12 December at 7pm in the clubhouse. Any questions, contact the Child Protection Officer, Lisa Murphy on lmurpho46@hotmail.com Sympathies: The club would like to offer its condolences to Andrew Maguire on the death of his mother Eileen. Andrew is a coach with our U9 teams. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
