Welcome to this week’s club news, U15 hurlers fall just short: Our U15 hurlers, who combine with Kilcoole to form the North Wicklow Gaels, lost out by a point to Michael Dwyers in the A final. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow for free flowing hurling but the lads gave it their all losing barely, on a score line of 1-12: 2-08. A special well done to our club lads Kieran Ovenden, Kevin Booth, Cian O’Lionaigh, Christy Connors, Fintan Potts, Mikey Hatton-O’Brien, Tomas O’Connell, Oisin Shanahan, and Chase Scully. Read match report HERE.  Congrats: to club man Stephen Kelly who's been nominated for the Christy Ring Champion 15. This is the first year that a selection of 45 players has been chosen from the Ring, Rackard and Meagher competitions with the new selection process introducing player and coach feedback. Those selected were finalised by an independent selection committee of journalists and referees. The Champion 15 selection will be awarded as part of the PwC All-Stars event in Dublin’s Convention Centre on Friday November 1.
