Welcome to this week’s club news, U11 football county finals: Two great performances from our U11 boys football teams in the county finals. The lads played Ashford and Roundwood respectively. While the results went against us on the day both teams put in Trojan efforts. After a slow start against Roundwood, the team rallied to score six unanswered points in the second half. While against Ashford the team put in a great effort but just fell short. This weekend it's the U11 hurling finals!  Golf classic postponed: Unfortunately, due to predicted adverse weather conditions today’s (Friday) golf classic has been deferred until Friday, 25th October. Further details to follow. KBC offers for club members: As part of its sponsorship of the club, KBC are offering reduced mortgage rates and €20 in cash for teen and student plus accounts. It was a massive team effort from all over the pitch with some fantastic scores taken. Twenty-two players togged out on a cold October evening which shows massive commitment. Get well soon to the fantastic Aisling Duggan who was playing a stormer before having to come off with a nasty head injury.
