Welcome to this week’s club news, Camogie Glory #1: Well done to U16 Eire Og / Glenely camogie team who had a fantastic win against Arklow last week. The victory means that the team qualify for the county shield final where they’ll face Bray Emmets. Well done girls! 
Senior footballers survive: Thanks to a fine win against Kiltegan our senior adult men’s football team have maintained their senior status. A blistering last ten minutes when we scored 2-3 without reply saw them run out winners on a score line of 2-15:1-14. Top scorer was Daniel Keane who bagged 1-04. Darren Hayden also excelled. Camogie Glory #2: The U16s weren’t the only camogie team to excel this week. Our adults travelled north last week and the Shield at the Niamh Eanna 7s which were held in Glengormley, Belfast. The team was captained by Gemma Lacey.
