Welcome to this week’s club news, Senior hurlers bow out: Our senior hurling team went out of the championship last weekend when they were defeated by St Pat’s by three points. The lads were ahead several times during the match but a contentious sending off didn’t help our cause. Read full match report HERE. 
Sympathies: The club extend our sympathies to the Potts family on the death of Mr Terry Potts, father of Diarmuid (U15/U17 hurling coach), grandfather of Eoghan, Keeva and Fintan and father in law of Lorna, all who are involved in the club. U11 boys footballers win blitz: Super display from our U11 boys footballers last weekend. They were invited to the Blessington blitz along with numerous teams from Leinster. The team won the Munster final vs Celbridge by 12 points to 10. They played teams from Wicklow, Dublin and Kildare on way to the final.  Golf classic: Our annual golf classic takes place on Friday, 4 October at Greystones Golf Club. It costs €280 per team which includes foot at the 9th hole and a meal. For tee times contact Anthony Byrne at 087 818 8871. Club lotto: The winning numbers in last week’s club lotto were 5,8,9 & 22. The weekly cash prize winners were Pat Monaghan and Niamh Sherlock.
