Welcome to this week’s club news, Ladies footballers enter championship fray: Our adult ladies football team will commence their 2019 championship campaign with a home fixture against Clann na Gael (Kilmac/Enniskerry) on Thursday, 27th, July (tonight) The match has a 7:30 thrown in time. Remember, this team won the junior championship last year so the step up to the next level is a big one. One way to help is to get down and support.  Senior hurlers pipped: Our senior hurling team put in a creditable performance in their second championship match last weekend. Minus several starting players they were defeated by Carnew by a couple of points. They’ll be aiming to get their campaign back on track when they face Kiltegan in Blessington this Sunday at 11am. Read match report HERE. Juvenile hurling: Our under 13 hurlers were in action against Michael Dwyers this week at the Wicklow Centre of Excellence in Ballinakill. It was an absolutely brilliant game, a great battle between two very skilful teams, thankfully the rain held off too!  Weekly lotto: How does €12,000 sound?
