Welcome to this week’s club news, Senior hurlers face into championship: Our senior hurling team face into consecutive weekends of championship action. On Sunday, they play Carnew at 3:45 in Aughrim. While on Sunday, 30th they play Kiltegan at 11 am in Blessington. The team were defeated by Bray in their opening championship game so they’ll be looking to get their campaign back on track. Weekly lotto: Comparatively speaking our club’s membership fees are very low. We manage to keep them at modest rates due to our fundraising activity of which our weekly lotto is our main source. Last week’s winning numbers were 10, 16, 19 & 24. The weekly jackpot winners were John Paul Connolly and Eamon Coveney. This Monday’s jackpot is €12,000. Get your tickets HERE. Juvenile hurling: Some of our young hurlers had a great morning’s hurling last Saturday. Thanks to St Olaf, Dublin for the invite. A brilliant game for all the spectators as both teams showed great skill and team play. We were without our centre back as he was showing a few lads how to hurl in St Kieran’s College Kilkenny!  Cúl Camps: There are still places available for the hurling summer camp which takes place on 29th July-2nd August. It costs €60 with reduced prices for subsequent children.
