Welcome to this week’s club news, CÚL Summer Camps: The popular hurling and football summer camps are now open for booking. This year, the football camp takes place between 22-26 July, with the hurling/camogie camp on 29 July-2 August. It costs €60 per child with discounted rates for second and third children. Book your place HERE # Weekly lotto: 2, 17, 18 & 20 were the magic numbers in last week’s lotto draw. Nobody managed to match all four numbers to win the jackpot. The weekly cash prize winners were Ann Teehan and Kenneth Cole. Tonight’s (3rd) jackpot is €12,000. Get your €2 tickets HERE. U13 hurlers in action: Our U13 hurlers played Bray this week in Bray. We had a great performance and both teams had some fantastic skills on display. This team is really progressing nicely and we’re looking forward to some more encouraging performances throughout the summer.
Ladies football update: The odds have been stacked against the ladies squads involved in their last three games and it is greatly to their credit that they put up such battling performances and also to the credit of their mentors for having been able to fulfill the fixtures. We are very proud of Éire Óg’s representatives on the panel - Angela O Leary, Michelle Lemay, Grainne Megannety, Suzanne Behan & Fiona O’Farrell. Just shows how far has camogie come in the club since Angela got it going a short few years ago.
