Welcome to this week’s club news,
Juvenile coaching seminar: Paul Kilgannon will be at the clubhouse on Tuesday, 28th May at 8pm. Paul is a renowned expert on coaching children in sport. This is a great opportunity to get insights on best practice and hear about the latest trends in coaching juveniles.
Leinster league success for Northern Gaels: Great news this weekend on the hurling front. Northern Gaels (Kilcoole/Eire Og) defeated Could Dubh (Kildare) in the final of their section of the Leinster league. This win follows two hard fought wins in the Wicklow U15 league over Michael Dwyers and Bray Emmetts, so the lads are in good form and hope to build on it through the summer. Eire Og Players: Kieron Ovenden, Kevin Booth, Fintan Potts, Cian O'Lionaigh, Mickey O'Brien Hatton, Chase Scully, Oisin Costigan.
Weekly lotto: The winning numbers in last week’s weekly lotto were: 7,17,19 & 24. The weekly cash prize winners were Brian O’Sullivan and Larry Browne. Tonight’s (Monday) jackpot is €12,000. Get your tickets HERE.
U16 girls footballers put in Bray-ve effort: Hats off to our U16 footballers who really put it up to Bray Emmetts on Tuesday. Well done Mick, Martin and all the girls.
Camogie carnival: With the sheer volume of camogie activity going on in the club at the moment, it can be hard to keep up! Within the last week alone, there been the adult team playing down in Carnew, (top left, below) club players representing the county (top right), the U12s playing a blitz in Abbotstown (bottom, left) and the U8 & 10s playing Bray (bottom, right)
Yours in sport,
