Welcome to this week’s club news,
County Camogie: Well done to Ellie O Malley, Florence Fogarty, Aisling Goff and Siobhan Darcy who played on the U15 Wicklow camogie team against Cavan last week. In a topsy turvey game, the team were one down at halftime, went four up early in the second half but eventually lost on a score line of 3-08 : 2-07.

County minor football: Wicklow played Kildare in the 1st round of the Leinster Minor football championship last week. In total we had nine players from the club on the panel. On the day, four of them saw action as the team went down to Kildare. Next up they face matches against Louth and Kilkenny but well done to Daniel Healy, Joe Prendergast, Eoin O’Neill, Conor Fulham, Neil Browne, Luke Dorgan, Thade Shanahan, Roy Byrne and Cian Hynes.
In ladies minor county football, Kerryann Hamilton played for Wicklow in their defeat to Louth in Leinster C Championship semi-final.
Table quiz: Northern Gaels hurling club which is combination of our club and Kilcoole are holding a fundraising table quiz to raise money for their trip to the national Feile this year. It takes place in the Hotspot at 8pm on 17th May.

Strength and conditioning: Children’s strength and conditioning resumes this week from Monday to Thursday between 4:30-5:30pm. It’s suitable for 12-14 year olds. Contact: SandC@eireoggreystones.com for details.
