Welcome to this week’s club news, Camogie county stars: Massive congratulations to our five senior camogie players who made their debut county performance yesterday (24th) against Tyrone. Angela O’ Leary played in the forwards, Grainne Megannety was in midfield, Suzanne Behan in goals with Michelle Creamer and Fiona O’Farrell in the backs. Inspiring stuff!
Weekly lotto: Did you know that only about a third of our income comes from membership subs, the rest we fundraise of which our weekly lotto is our main one? The winning numbers in last week’s lotto were: , 18, 9, 21 & 24. The weekly cash prize winners were Emma Leonard and Wayne Comerford. This week’s jackpot is €12,000 so get your tickets HERE. Schools hurling: The North Wicklow Schools hurling team is made up of students from St Davids, Templecarrig and Colaiste Chraobh Abhann, Kilcoole. This is the first year to field a team, and we would like to thank the teachers and schools for their support. Well done lads.
Easter Camp: There will be an Easter Camp for boys and girls aged 8 to 13. It will run from the 15th to 18th of April (4 days) between 10 am to 2 pm daily. It encompasses hurling and football. Cost €50 per child. Limited places so please book by contacting Billy @ 0863739391.
