Welcome to this week’s club news, Battle of Boden: It was great to see our young camogie girls back in competitive action. Our U14s faced off against Ballyboden St Endas in a really tough competitive fixture in which everyone gave it their all. We’re looking forward to the regular update from this team and all our camogie squads through the season. For details of all Dublin camogie fixtures click HERE.
Weekly lotto: Our main club fundraiser, the weekly lotto continues unabated. Last week’s winning numbers were 15, 16, 20 & 25. The weekly cash prize winners were Harry McGeehan and Andrew Walshe. Please do consider supporting our lotto especially at this time of year when we’ve lots of bills to pay! Get your €2 tickets HERE. Busy week for adult men’s footballers: Both are Senior and Junior A teams were in action last weekend. Our senior team made it three wins from three with a 4:10-1:14 victory over Kilmac on Saturday. A depleted Junior A team (pictured below) travelled to Aughrim on Sunday in the first game of the season. They came out on the losing side but battled gamely to the end. For upcoming fixtures click HERE.
U13 boys footballers compete in Leinster league: The Leinster league is a pre-season competition where we play teams from other counties. The lads played St Patricks of Meath recently and following a very competitive game came out on top by 5-8 to 2-11. Overall, the team won 2 out of 3 fixtures meaning that they’ve progressed to the semi-finals. Yours in sport, Daniel English (englishdaniel@hotmail.com)
