Welcome to this week’s club news, New Strength and Conditioning Facility Open Day: Have you visited the club's new Strength and Conditioning (S&C) facility yet? If not, this Saturday morning is the ideal opportunity. John Lane, the S&C trainer will be there to show you around and answer any questions you may have. Fundraising lotto: The winning numbers in this week’s weekly fundraising lotto were 1, 8, 16 & 28. The weekly cash prize winners were Simon Joyce and Yvonne McDonald. Monday’s jackpot is €12,000. This is a particularly expensive time of year for the club with insurance and registration fees due, so please do support by buying your tickets HERE. Take up the whistle: There is a real need for additional referees in the county. Remember, without them, there's no games. It’s also a useful way to earn a little extra income, so why not pick up a whistle? 
National hurling and football leagues kick off: Our senior county hurlers and footballers commence their national league campaigns this weekend against Warwickshire and Waterford respectively. Club player Darren Hayden is down to start for the footballers with Billy Cuddihy, Peter Keane and Stephen Kelly are in the first 15 for the hurlers. We also have Anto Byrne, James Cranley, Daniel Keane and Fintan O’Shea on the teams’ panels. Yours in sport, Daniel English
