Welcome to this week’s club news, U20 footballers win again: Good win for our U20 football team yesterday beating St Nick's 1-10 :0-08. They now march on to the semi-final. This is the first time in decades that this grade of competition has been run in Wicklow. So it’s really positive to see that we’re competing so well. Club fundraising lotto: The hardy annual which is the weekly club lotto continues unabated. The winning numbers in last week’s draw were; 17, 21, 27 & 29. Tonight’s (19th) jackpot is €12,000. All you have to do is match the four winning numbers and the dough is yours. The weekly cash prize winners were Tony Duddy and Marcela Ni Suilleabhain. Get your €2 tickets HERE. Club players in county action: Our club had a huge representation on the Wicklow U16 boys football team which reached the final of the prestigious Fr Manning Cup last week. Neil Browne, Eoin O’Neill, Cillian Keane, Daniel Healy, Cian Hynes, Thade Shanahan and Conor Fulham were all panellists. Unfortunately, the game final itself went against them but it’s a great collective and personal honour for the lads. 
AGM: Thursday 29th November, a date for the diary of Greystonians who have even a passing interest in GAA affairs in this area. It is the day of the Eire Og Greystones AGM which is scheduled for 8 p.m. in the clubhouse. Please do try to attend, a large turnout is a great source of encouragement and you won’t be shackled with a job (not unless you want one!)
