Welcome to this week’s club news,

Ladies footballers claim championship in thriller: Our adult ladies footballers were involved in one of the matches of the season last Saturday. In a thrilling encounter, they overcame Roundwood by a single point to win the Junior Football championship on a scoreline of 3:15- 6:05. See some more images HERE and read the match report in the full club notes HERE.

Help build the gym: As we move forward with our plans to install our own gym within the club we are asking for your help. This great addition to our facilities is one that will benefit all our members into the future. So if you’d like to contribute, you can do so HERE

Senior hurlers knocked out in controversial circumstances: Has the tying of a pair of boot laces ever came with such a cost on the sporting field as it did for our senior hurlers on Sunday in our encounter with St Pat’s in the senior hurling championship quarter final?  This trivial act contributed to our hurlers being knocked out of this year’s championship. Read how in the full weekly club notes HERE.

Lotto: Don’t forget to support our weekly lotto please. I know there’s always lots going on but it’s a main fundraiser for the year. Last week’s winning numbers were: 12, 14, 15 & 25. Seamus English and Lorraine O’Brien were the weekly winners. You can get your €2 tickets HERE.

New bags for adult camogie team: Many thanks to O'Regan & Co Chartered Accountants for kindly sponsoring a fine set of gear bags for the  adult camogie team. Pictured below are Helen and Dave from O’Regan & Co with Angela O’Leary, team captain.
