Welcome to this week’s club news, Big weekend for young guns: This is a significant weekend for three of the club’s rising footballers. Daire Devine, Shaun Cranley and Fionn O'Carroll are part of the Wicklow U17 panel who will play Offaly on Monday at 2pm in Aughrim in the Leinster Championship. Good luck fellas. 
Bank holiday bonanza: Make this the greatest long weekend ever by matching four numbers and winning the club lotto. Last week’s winning numbers were 6, 12, 24 and 28. Michael Arrigan and Thomas Comerford were the weekly cash winners. Get your tickets HERE. Blitzes are back: Our fantastic under 10 and under 8 camogie players played their hearts out in the gorgeous sunshine this week in the first blitz of the season. It was great to see the happy faces, girls showing great skills and enjoying playing the game. 
U16 ladies footballers win again: Fantastic display from our u16 girls team in their 2nd league match away to An Tochar this week. The team started off well with a lot of possession but couldn’t seem to split the posts. As soon as we settled after a point from the left boot of corner forward Eimear Fawcett, the girls soon found their stride. Andrea and Megan marshalling the full back line and half back line respectively with Chloe, Eimear Ryan, Alice and Faye held strong got some great tackles in with Megan lording her new found position at centre back. The team ran out comfortable winners in the end. 
Junior joy: It may not be at the glamourous end of the GAA spectrum but it was good to see both our adult junior teams back in action. Our junior adult hurling (second team) earned a creditable draw against Glenealy while our junior C (third adults team) football team went down gallantly to Kilcoole. Read the full weekly notes HERE.
