Welcome to this week’s club news
Adult football and hurling draws made: They may seem like a long way off but the draws for the adults’ men’s football and hurling championships have been made. This year, we’ll have four teams; two hurling and two football.
Senior Football Championship
Group 1: Blessington, Baltinglass, Newtown, AGB, Annacurra, St Pat's, Tomacork.
Group 2: Rathnew, Avondale, Kiltegan, Bray, Eire Og, Hollywood.
Format: Top team progress to semi-finals. 2nd and 3rd progress to quarter-finals. Bottom two in relegation play-offs.
Junior A football championship: Three groups, two of five, one of four.
Group 1: Eire Og, Newcastle, Knockananna, Valleymount, Barndarrig.
Group 2: St Pat's, Rathnew, Kilcoole, Aughrim
Group 3: Shillelagh, An Tochar, Coolboy, Baltinglass, Kilbride.
Format: Three qualify from groups of 5, two from group of four.
Junior Hurling Championship Barndarrig, Bray, CarnewEmmets ,Glenealy, St Pats, Eire Og
Format: Played on a league basis with top two in A final, team 3 and 4 in B final and the C final for team 5 and 6.
Senior hurling championship: TBC
Weekly lotto: The winning numbers in last week’s lotto draw were 2, 6, 13 & 27. The weekly cash prize winners were Freda O’Kelly and Margaret Maguire. Tickets available HERE.
