St David’s claim senior B football title: We always try to cultivate good relationships with our local primary and secondary schools, so it was really positive to see St David’s secondary school claim the senior B football title this week. They defeated Wordbook College from Bray in the final. There were several familiar faces on the team. 
Club motion passed on county convention: The Wicklow GAA county convention took place in Aughrim on Monday. This is effectively the AGM for GAA in the county. At the meeting our club sought to ensure that the outrageous situation we endured this year of playing senior football and hurling championship matches in consecutive days wouldn’t recur. Our chairperson, John Keane proposed and spoke eloquently to a motion on this issue which received unanimous support. Read more abou it HERE.
