Welcome to this week’s club news U13 boys’ footballers: Let’s all wish our U13 footballers the very best of luck when they take on Baltinglass in Ballinakill at 2:30 pm this Saturday. The advanced to the final thanks to a tremendous semi-final victory over Blessington on Monday. The team came out on top on a score-line of 4-11-2-01. Bring it home lads! U13 hurlers bow out: The season came to an end for our young hurlers who lost out to a combination of Arklow and Avondale in the hurling shield semi-final. In difficult conditions for hurling the team gave it their all. Two points from Oisin Shanahan frees and another from play by Christy Connors had us 1-4 to 0-4 down at half team. However, the Avondale/Parnells team pulled away in the second half to run out winners.
