Welcome to this week’s club news,

Golf with a Galaxy of Stars:  We’ve still a few morning slots left for our golf classic at Greystones Golf club tomorrow, (6th). If swinging a club isn’t your thing, then join us tomorrow evening for dinner and Q & A session with three lads who’ve a combined 9 All Ireland medals between them. We’ll have Paul Mannion, Dublin footballer, Kieran Joyce, Kilkenny hurler and Kieran Murphy, Cork hurler joining us from 7:30 pm for a chat. You can listen to the lads and get your dinner for just €20. Booking essential, contact Anthony Byrne at 087 8188871. Alternatively, just call up for a drink and listen to these GAA legends.

Weekly lotto: Still no winner of our weekly lotto draw meaning next Monday’s draw rises to €10,600. The winning numbers in last Monday’s edition were 16, 29, 24 and 27. Daniel Woods and Lynn Drumgoole picked up the weekly cash prizes. Get your tickets HERE.

U11 hurlers visit schools: Our victorious u11 hurling panel brought their cup from last week's final to school assemblies this week. They received a great reception from their class mates in St Kevin's, St Laurence's, Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath, Educate Together and St Bridgets. Each school also has posted pictures on school newsletters. You can read how the cup was won HERE.

Adult Camogie Final: We’re sending our best wishes to our indefatigable adult camogie team who play in the shield final this Sunday against Ballinacor at 2:30pm at the Aughrim Community pitch.

Sympathies: We club extend our deepest sympathies to Darina McFadden Prendergast on the death of her mother, Kathleen in Newtowncunningham, Co Donegal. And sympathies to Maurice, Luke, Ellen, David & Joe Prendergast, all of whom play/coach in the club.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Yours in sport
