Welcome to this week’s club news, Huge weekend for adult footballers and hurlers: This is the biggest weekend of the year for our senior adult men’s footballers and hurlers. They both face into knock out championship matches this weekend. Despite our objections to the matches being staged on consecutive days, the teams are just getting on with it. Please show your support

Weekly lotto: The jackpot has now exceeded the magical €10,000 mark. The winning numbers in this week’s draw were 1, 9, 13 & 23. Pat Brady and Aoife Butler picked up the weekly cash prizes. LADIES FOOTBALL: Last week was a hectic one for our u-16, u-14 and u-12 teams. The u-16 cailini travelled to Blessington to take on the locals in the semi-final of the B Championship which they won by the single point. The u-14s reached the final of their championship but unfortunately were beaten, 2-8 to 2-4, by Carnew while the U12s were also in action. Read all about the matches HERE
