Welcome to this week’s club news Great weekend for adult men’s footballers: Both are first and second adult football teams recorded valuable championship wins last weekend. Our seniors overcame Avondale 1-16: 2-10 while our juniors got the better of St Patrick’s 0-7: 0-5. Both these victories leave the teams well placed to advance to the knock-out stages of the championship. Read full match report here. 
Weekly lotto: The winning four numbers in Monday night’s lotto draw were; 8,13,18 and 24. Nobody matched all four numbers so a further €200 is added to the jackpot bringing it up to €8,800. Billy Cuddihy and Gerry Byrne picked the weekly cash prizes. Get you tickets here. CÚL CAMPS - During five days of each of the last two weeks, from 10 in the morning to half past 2 in the afternoon the Éire Óg grounds echoed to the joyful sound of hundreds of primary school students ag baint taitneamh as the activities of the Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camps. Buíochas to the management team of Darren Hayden, Colm Gaskin and his brother ‘Mossie’ and to their very committed enthusiastic, child-centred approach. In the Éire Óg camps 190 children attended the hurling and in excess of 240 took part in the football. 
Ladies adult footballers record championship win: Our adult ladies team travelled to Barndarrig the other night in the championship and came away with a great 2-06: 2-12 victory. This team is really developing nicely. Could they be the dark horses for this year’s championship?! Read match report here
