Welcome to this week’s club news. Cúl and the gang: The hugely popular Summer Cúl camps have just finished today. This year, we had a record number of girls and boys taking part in two camps for football and hurling/camogie. Start counting down the days already for next year’s!

Tickets at http://bit.ly/2qVKzeu Camogie teams battle the elements: A torrential downpour didn’t stop the spirit of our U8 & U10 camogie teams at a blitz in Ballinakill this week. As you can see, they improvised to keep warm and dry! 
U16 ladies football: The u-16s’ league campaign ended last week with a 6-17 to 4-13 win at home against An Tochar. While it might be somewhat dramatic to describe the campaign as having begun in a whimper and having ended in a blaze of glory it did mirror this description. Read match report Big weekend for adult football teams: Both our adult football teams are in championship action this weekend. On Saturday, our Junior A (2nd team) face St Pat’s at 7pm in Rathnew while our Senior (1st team) play Avondale in Aughrim at 11am. All support welcome. Yours in sport Daniel English
