Senior hurling: Our senior hurling team put in a heroic performance in their opening championship game this week against county champions Bray Emmets. The concession of a late goal and being reduced to 14 men just saw the match slip away from them on a score line of 1-17: 1-15, but it bodes well for their next championship match against St Pat’s in Aughrim this Sunday at 12pm.
Go Games Camps: The popular GAA Cul Camps are now open for booking. They will take place in the club on:
July 17-21 (hurling/camogie)
July 24-28 (football)
Cost: €60 for 1st. child; €50 for 2nd child; €40 for 3rd and subsequent children. For children attending a second camp, without the complimentary gear, the cost is €35. Attendance is open to primary school children aged 6 years to 13 years. Book your place HERE.
Weekly lotto jackpot keeps rising: The winning numbers in Monday night’s lotto draw were 6,7, 17 and 22. Nobody matched all four numbers, so another €200 is added prize fund meaning next Monday's jackpot is €7,600. Paul Lemass and Gerry Byrne were the weekly cash prize winners. Please support our lotto, it’s our main fundraiser and tickets just €2 HERE
