Welcome to this week’s club news, Girls U-12 Football: It was great to hear that 8 of our u-12s were part of the county squad which took part in the recent Leinster Inter-County blitz. Three Cill Mantain teams took part and there were 2 Eire Og cailini, Jane Merren and Aisling Roche, on the team which was beaten by 1 point by Laois in the final. The Eire Og girls who travelled to Carlow were Ciara O’Neill (daughter of Feile mentor Peter), Aleesha Campbell, Sophia King, Jane Merren, Aisling Roche, Abbie Smullen, Ellen Phelan and Ellen Byrne. Suzanne sizzles adult camogie team: The senior camogie team played a practice game against Avoca in Avoca on Thursday night last. They were beaten but the improvement in the standard of their play was a source of great satisfaction to their mentors. The highlight of the game was the 1-1 score from play by underage mentor Suzanne Behan. 
Weekly lotto: Nobody quite managed to match all four numbers in the weekly lotto jackpot, meaning that another €200 is added meaning next week’s total is €7,400. The winning numbers were 8,13,23 and 28. The weekly prize winners were Angela O’Leary and Kieran Hinphey.
