Welcome to this week’s club news. Well done Patsy: Our club President Patsy Vickers has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Wicklow County Board. Patsy’s involved with our club goes back decades. He has been a coach and administrator and he now holds the prestigious position of club president. Patsy will receive his award from at a gala ceremony in Arklow next month. AGM: Our AGM was held last week. There was a modest turn out but a good discussion took place. The main theme to emerge was the club’s finances. As we grow, we’re struggling to keep pace with the associated costs which accompany this. It now costs over €165,000 to run the club each year. There are also a couple of positions left to fill on the committee. Please consider volunteering. The draw was recently held in the Horse and Hound. The winners’ details are available here. Weekly lotto: The winning numbers in last week’s lotto draw were 2, 7, 22 and 28. Bronagh Daly, Simon Gammell and Catherine Daly matched 3 numbers and share in €200.
