The final score of 1-5 to 0-5 carries the suggestion of either massed defences or poor shooting. The former implies a strictly adhered-to order and what transpired on Saturday evening was anything but that. WEDDING BELLS: Congrats to club senior footballer and hurler, Stephen Kelly on his engagement to Katie Graham this week. Stephen is also a dual county star, so finding a date for the wedding won’t be easy! http://bit.ly/2b8PPrL UP IT GOES: Two more people were thinking “what might have been” this week. Both Geraldine Kelly and Patricia Murphy who matched 3 of the 4 winning numbers. While they shared €200, they just missed out on the top prize of €10,200. Next week’s jackpot is €10,400. They went down 2-19 to 1-14 which wasn’t a fair reflection of the score, following a good effort by the lads.
