AGB who have become a power i bPeil na gCailíní proved to be much tougher opposition and Éire Óg were lucky to come away with a win on the scoreline of 1-10 to 1-8. The club's resources were thinly spread on Saturday as personnel were called on to service a plethora of events. Indeed it could be appropriately said of the day, with apologies to Shakespeare, that “when events come they come not in single spies but in battalions.
