Membership due date has been reached and is now overdue. Anyone paying CB tickets by instalments can now pay their second amount. The gym membership year is also due.
A mixed set of results for the U14s. The hurlers had a great win last night over Portlaoise, while the U14B footbal team secured an opening win against Spink which could set them up for a good run this year. The U14A footballers were beaten by a very strong Ballyroan Abbey team, who will have a big say in where league and championship honours will go this year. The U16 match was called off due to a bereavement in Castletown.
Best of luck to Paddy Dunne who has come through his operation successfully but now faces an extended layoff to recuperate.
U8/10 football commenced in Acragar last night and will take place every Tuesday at 7pm. U8 & 10 hurling will be outdoors on Mondays at 630pm, at the same time as U12 football. U6 hurling will stay in the Sports Complex, for now, while a decision is pending on U6 football.
There will be no indoor hurling next Monday as the Sports Complex is closed for the bank holiday.
