The club wishes Chris Grehan the quickest of recoveries. Chris received a blow to his neck and fractured a vertebrae. Although, he is now home, he will be in a neck brace for a fortnight before six months to full recovery.
The Thousandaire fundraiser took place on Saturday night in The Heritage. It was a very enjoyable night and all the contestants took home prize-money. The highlight of the night was Conor O'Shea's Phone-A-Friend being "100% certain" that the Barrow flows through Calcutta! Thanks to everyone involved who helped organise the night, to the sponsors and to everyone who bought a ticket.
Supervalu's competition continues in McConville's. A €40 receipt gives you a docket which can be put in the Mountmellick GAA 'bucket'. The winning club gets a set of juvenile jerseys. Please support the club.
