The Castlehaven U 16 team played Clonakilty in the replay of the championship in Rosscarbery on Saturday. The first half was a close enough affair with Clonakilty leading at half time by 1-07pts. to 1-04pts. The physically stronger Clonakilty side upped their performance considerably in the second half and won on a scoreline of 2-16pts. to 1-05pts. Castlehaven now meet Inniscarra in the next round.

The U 12 team had a good win over Clonakilty in the league last week .The game was low scoring for the first half Clonakilty lead at half time by 1-02pts. to 0-02pts.Castlehaven improved for the second half and kicked some great scores to win by 5-11pts to 1-07pts. The U6 , U 8 ,and U10 panels played in a blitz last Wednesday evening in Ballineen .The U 10 team played St. Marys in a very good match. The U 6 team played St Marys the panel A Limrick, J Maguire, K O Callaghan, D McCarthy, O Buckley, O Williamson, C McCarthy, E O Donovan, O Miles, L Deasy, S Crowley, M Crowley, S McCarthy and F Deasy
The club had two winner in the Cork County Board draw for August; Batt Maguire won €500 and Pat Hegarty won €100 voucher.
