In a well balanced game, the physically stronger local team proved too good on the night. Score. 5-12 to 4-8.
The minors made it three wins from three when they travelled to Bishopstown on Thursday for the non-exam league. The Haven started slowly and found themselves down 2-6 to 1-0 after twenty minutes. They upped the performance coming up to half time scoring three goals, the half time score was 3-6 to 4-0. The Haven played well in the second half and ran out winners on a scoreline of 6-7 to 5-8.

An understrength u/15 team took part in a Munster council 7 a side blitz in Skibbereen on Saturday last they were defeated in their three games by Ilen Rovers Clonakilty and Bantry.

The underage club would like to thank Adrian O’Donovan of Trag.ie for sponsoring a set of jerseys for the U/12 panel. Adrian presented the jerseys to the club on Friday night, also on the night medals were presented to last years victorious U/10 & U/12 panels, senior team captain Seanie Cahalane presented the medals on the night.
The club are collecting scrap metal at the pitch, anyone who wants to get rid of scrap metal can drop it at the pitch .The club can arrange for the pick up of scarp metal if people cannot drop it at the pitch.
