Castlehaven GAA Club lotto results: There was no winner of the jackpot last weekend when the numbers drawn were 17, 27, and 30. Consolation prizes were won by Paula McCarthy, Nicholas O Regan and Paul McCarthy. Next week’s jackpot will be €5,400 on Monday 24th January The delayed 2020 U21 championship resumed last weekend. Castlehaven played Carbery Rangers in the semi-final last Sunday at Rosscarbery. In a low a scoring first half the home side got an early goal to lead at half time by Castlehaven 0-03pts Carbery Rangers 1-01pts. The game opened up in the second half with both team creating scoring chances. Castlehaven kicked some great points in the second half to lead by 4pts. The home side got a second goal to cut the deficit to 1 pt. Castlehaven held on to win Full Time Castlehaven 0-11pts Carbery Rangers 2-04pts. Congratulations to the players and management on an excellent win. They now play The Dohenys in the final on this Sunday. We had players on the MTU Cork team that defeated UCC in the Sigerson Cup. Also had a big representation on the Skibbereen CS team that defeated Rathmore in the Corn Ui Mhuire. |
