The Castlehaven senior and junior ladies were involved in two dramatic games last weekend.
The Castlehaven senior team bowed out of the championship after they were defeated by St. Finbarr's last Sunday evening at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. It was a dramatic game with plenty of great football and some brilliant scores. The club would like to thank the players and management for two great years of football.
Pride of Place goes to the Castlehaven junior ladies after their dramatic win over the Dohenys in the Junior A county final last Saturday at CIT. It was an enthralling game with Castlehaven winning after a sudden death shoot-out over an excellent Dohenys team. This is a special group of players who now have won 3 consecutive county finals and will be playing in the intermediate grade for 2022. The team will now go forward and represent Cork in the 2021 Munster championship.
