Castlehaven GAA Club lotto results: There was no winner of the jackpot last weekend when the numbers drawn were 8, 27 and 30. Consolation prizes were won by John O Brien, Micheàl O Neill and Charlie McCarthy Og. Tickets can be purchased online www.castlehavengaa.ie
Next week’s jackpot will be €2,200 on Monday 4th October.
The Castlehaven team traveled to Einniskeane to play Eire Og in the second group game of the championship last Saturday evening Both sides won their first game
so it was always going to a humdinger of a match . It was a super game of attacking football with both sides going all out attack .
It was a great game for any neutrals but heart stopping for both sets of supporters . Castlehaven were excellent going forward kicking 2-19pts scoring 2-17pts from play . Castlehaven held on to win their second game full time Castlehaven 2-19pts Eire Og 2-16pts to top of the group .
Well done the players and management on an other excellent win .
Rebel Og West U15 Div 1 Final
The Castlehaven U15 team played Macroom last Sunday morning at Kealkill in the final . The game was played in very wet and windy conditions . A physically stronger Macroom team had the aid of the elements for the first half . Castlehaven were struggling to stay in touch and were behind at half time by Castlehaven 0-03pts Macroom 1-06pts . Castlehaven regrouped at half time and started excellently after the break with the aid of the wind scoring 1-04pts without reply . Scoring a great team goal. Castlehaven lead at the second half water break by 1-07 pts to 1-06pts . Macroom came into the game scoring the next two points to lead by 1pts with 7mins remaining . Castlehaven never panicked scoring 3 great points to lead by 2 pts with time nearly up . A very dangerous lead and Macroom bombarded Castlehaven in the last few minutes . A massive defensive display by our backs helped us to hold on . Full Time score Castlehaven 1-10pts Macroom 1-08pts . A tremendous result for the underage club and all the coaches . Congratulations to all the players , management team and parents on this great result . Hard luck to an excellent Macroom team but their day will come .

Castlehaven vs Kilmeen on Sunday 26th at Moneyvollahane
The Castlehaven U12 team welcomed Kilmeen to Moneyvollahane for the u12 final on Sunday evening . Castlehaven were excellent early on scoring 2 goals . The visitors hit a purple patch scoring 4 goals to lead at half time by Castlehaven 2-03pts Kilmeen 4-05pts . The second half was a cracking game . Castlehaven thundered into the game . They went all out attack to cut the deficit to 1pt . The visitors held on to win by FT Castlehaven 5-08pts Kilmeen 5-09pts . Congratulations to Kilmeen on winning the final . Hard luck to the Castlehaven team . Well done to the players and management as the team have improved with evey game this year .

Abhainn Dalla made the long journey to Moneyvollahane to play Castlehaven in the Junior A Ladies Championship last Sunday morning . The game was played in driving wind and rain.
