Winner! There was one winner of this week's jackpot of €2,200, congratulations to Ryan Deasy. Ryan's ticket was sold online. Next week's jackpot is €1,000. The Castlehaven and Valley Rovers senior teams played out a cracking game last Monday morning at Moneyvollahane. It was a great high scoring game for the first game of the season. The visitors got an early goal which set the tone of the game. Both sets of forwards were on top in a free scoring first half to let the half time score Castlehaven 0-11pts Valley Rovers 2-06pts. Castlehaven were excellent after half time scoring a great goal to lead by 0-03pts. But Valleys ability to get goals proved the difference in the end and they scored two goals in the last 10 mins to lead by 0-03pts. Castlehaven went on all out attack at the end but Rovers held on to win by Full Time Castlehaven 2-18pts Valley Rovers 4-14pts.
