Castlehaven GAA Club lotto results: There was one winner of the jackpot last weekend when the numbers drawn were 3,19 and 43 . Congratulations to Andrew De Courcey ( New York ) winner of the jackpot of €1,200 .Tickets can be purchased online www.castlehavengaa.ie. Next week’s jackpot will be €1,000 on Monday 11th October. The Castlehaven senior team are through to the county final after a dramatic win over St. Finbarrs in the semi final last Sunday evening . It was an absorbing championship match with Castlehaven winning a penalty shootout . The team showed tremendous resolve to gain a famous victory over an excellent St. Finbarrs team . Castlehaven now play Nemo Rangers in the county final . The Castlehaven minors had a famous win last Thursday over St. Finbarrs in the county semi final at Cloughduv . It was a very competitive game over the hour with both defences on top . The drawn game was very open. This game was very tactical , with plenty of men back and attacking on the break . Castlehaven lead from the start leading by 0-02pts at the 1st water break . Both teams defended well and turned over the ball coming up to half time break . Making scoring very difficult . Castlehaven lead at half time by 0-04pts to 0-03pts . The second half was a top affair with both sides finding more space . Both sides swapped points coming up to the second half water break Castlehaven leading by 8pts to 7pts . The sides were level with 10 minutes remaining . Castlehaven were excellent after the water break scoring four brilliant long range points to lead by 0-04pts with 5minutes remaining . The Barrs never gave up and scored a penalty with 4 minutes remaining . Castlehaven never panic leading by a point ,they held onto possession to record a great win by Castlehaven 0-12pts St. Finbarrs 1-08pts . Congratulations to the team and management on the great result for the club and they now play Kanturk in the final . The Castlehaven minor ladies played Bantry in the league final Sunday at Drimoleague .Castlehaven came up against strong opposition and Bantry dominated the first half . HT Castlehaven 0-00 Bantry 1-06 Castlehaven regrouped at half time and were much better in the second half. Castlehaven finished well but Bantry proved too strong . FT Haven 1-03 Bantry 1-10 Thanks to the players, coaches and mentors for some entertaining games.
