The Castlehaven junior 1 team had an excellent league win over Tadhg MacCarthaigh last Saturday at Union Hall .It was an excellent game with only a kick off a ball between the teams.Castlehaven started well to lead by 4pts after 15 mins. The visitors kicked some fine points before the break to lead at half time by 0-08pts to 0-04pts .Taghg MacCarthaigh extended their lead by 5 pts midway through the second half. Castlehaven went all out attack and scored 1-05pts to lead by 1 pt with 10 mins remaining.Both sides had scoring chances late in the match but Castlehaven held on to win by 1-13pts to 0-14pts. Junior 1 league Castlehaven vs Clonakilty in Union Hall 4pm.
