The Castlehaven and O Mathunas teams played in the junior championship last Friday night. Castlehaven played some excellent football in the first half and had a commanding lead at halftime by 1-13pts to 1-03pts. O Mathunas came more into the game in the second half but Castlehaven kept the scoreboard ticking over to win the game by 1-18pts to 1-07pts. They now play Kilmacabea in the 1/4 final.

The Castlehaven and Ibane Gaels U14 sides played last Thursday evening at Barryroe in the league semi-final. Castlehaven were the better team in the first half and led at halftime by 2-04pts to 0-06pts. Castlehaven never gave up and scored 1-01pts to draw level 3-07pts each at full time. The sides were still level at half-time in extra time 3-08pts a side. Castlehaven finished strongly scoring 3 goals to win the game 6-10pts to 3-11pts. Castlehaven now have qualified for the league final. The Castlehaven minor team played Ibane Gaels in Union Hall last Wednesday evening. Castlehaven played some great football over the hour to win the game by 4-13pts to 0-09pts
The Castlehaven U16 girls traveled to play Keelnameela in Ahiohill last Wednesday evening. Castlehaven had a good win and picked up the league points by 5-12pts to 2-05pts . The Castlehaven and Kinsale girls U12 sides played out an excellent game of football on Monday 23rd in Kinsale.
In a high scoring game, with both teams kicking some fine scores Castlehaven led at halftime by 3-07pts to 2-02pts. The second half was from end to end with Castlehaven holding on to win by FT 4-14pts to 7-04pts.
