There was no winner of the weekly Lotto numbers drawn 13-36-43 next weeks jackpot is €8,000 draw is at Annie Mays.


The Castlehaven U21 team advanced into the last eight of the County A Championship with an excellent win last Wednesday 23rd over Glenville in Coachford. The first half was very even with both teams kicking some fine points. Glenville finished the half strongly to lead at the break by 0-08pts to 0-07pts. Castlehaven improved as the game progressed and played some fine attacking football in the second half. They won the game midway through the half when they scored three excellent goals in a 5-minute spell. Glenville never gave up and cut the deficit near the end but Castlehaven held on to win by 3-16pts to 2-12pt.

The Castlehaven and Eire Og teams played out a very competitive senior div 2 league match in Ovens on Tuesday 22nd. In a close game, the sides were level at halftime and the home team went on to win the game by 0-14pts to 0-12pts.

The Castlehaven U15 panel of 12 players traveled to Clonakilty to play in the Munster  Super 10s competitions last Saturday. Castlehaven were grouped with Clonakilty, Carrigaline and Owen Gaels. They defeated Carrigaline 5-02pts to 2-05pts  and Clonakilty 4-03pts to 3-03pts  in two very close games. For the final match, they had a comprehensive victory over Owen Gaels and qualified for the Munsters finals. Castlehaven panel B Crowley, U O Donovan, F Collins, L McCarthy, T O Mahony, C O Neill, A O Donoghue, C McCarthy, D Maguire, S McNulty, S Browne & J O Driscoll.



The Castlehaven U12 team welcomed Bantry Blues to Moneyvollahane for a league game on Monday 21st.


It was a very good match with Castlehaven winning by 5-06pts to 5-00pts: The Haven panel J Moloney, N O Callaghan, S Maguire, M Tubbs, D O Callaghan, C Moloney, R McCarthy, D Cleary, D O Donovan, K French, D Courtney, M Crowley ,S Fuller, T O Donovan, J Limrick, A Buckley, C Buckley, E Maguire, J Maguire & C Buckley.



Congratulations to Mark Collins, Brian Hurley and Michael Hurley on an excellent victory over Tipperary on Saturday night. Cork will play Kerry or Clare in the Munster final on Sat 23rd June. Damien Cahalane gave another excellent display for the Cork hurlers last Sunday in Thurles.


Ladies Football:



The Castlehaven U14 girls traveled to Kilmichael to play Bride Rovers last Sunday for a county league 1/4 final. The Castlehaven team battled bravely against a very good Bride Rovers side. Bride Rovers proved too strong on the day and were deserving winners by FT 3-12pts 2-02pts. Team C Dennehy, A Connolly, A Cahalane, M McCarthy, C O Mahony, C Sheehy, L O Donoghue, K Pierce, S O Driscoll, H Connolly, A O Connell, A McCarthy, M Cahalane, E McCarthy, R Young, A Buckley, H Sheehy, B Sheehy, E McCarthy.
